Not only is your photographer’s knowledge of how to use their own lighting tools essential (we will talk about this in the next “Tips” email), but the lighting decor of your venue can have a huge impact on the dynamics of your photos as well! Use string lights, lanterns, chandeliers, and uplighting to add interest and color to your venue. This is especially helpful if you are getting married at sunset or have a reception venue that is a bit of a blank canvas. I promise you, it is worth the splurge!
